Office Desk is an iconic desk designed in 1959 by architect, professor, and designer Bodil Kjær. This design classic is finally back in production thanks to Karakter. The stylish desk with its straight lines has a top in oak or walnut and a metal base. The base is available lacquered in red and gray, or in stainless steel.

When Office Desk was first introduced, it was unique in its kind with its clean and straightforward design that gives the impression that the tabletop is almost floating. Bodil Kjær’s desk has been dubbed „the most beautiful desk in the world“ and has achieved iconic status, having been immortalized in three early James Bond films.

Karakter is a Danish design brand founded in 2017 by Kim Mekawi and Christian Elving. With a desire to break away from traditional Danish design, they started a brand that is not tied to a particular nationality or style.
